 .My mentor, very best friend, and father Dr. Jean Mariani, had the eventual bravery to challenge Professor Einstein in his quest of building a bridge between the physics worlds of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.

Dr. Mariani ended up being invited to live in the US by Professor Einstein to work closely alongside the professor for the last nine years of his life, both pictured here together at the Princeton Institute of Advanced Studies.

One day my dad found an important error in Professor Einstein's mathematics and was so embarrassed to confront him that he would duck down behind the bushes (and any obstacle he could find) for one solid month whenever Einstein would appear! When the professor finally confronted him about this, Dr. Mariani had to humbly admit that he had found an error in his mathematical work and felt terrible about it!


The two of them laughed at the situation and resolved it all right there!
